UPDATE:

5:10 Am and I'm just done taking a shower. I made it here in Memphis,TN after a long bus ride from Tulsa, OK. Like stated above I left tulsa bus station at 11am , arrived 5:30 pm in Dallas TX. Very comfy only 8 people inside the bus..

I had 2 huge chicken strips, a cookie , crackers and monster. I bought it at the stop store in Durant Oklahoma.

Spent : $10.50 first meal of the day.

And junior pizza & sprite for dinner at Greyhound terminal in Dallas while waiting for my lay over. I have plenty of time to eat.

Spent : $7.75 second meal of the day.

P.S - It will cost you $2.25 a drink if you buy it at the vending machine. I bought mine over there coz I thought its cheaper haha but thats alright I got some quarter left over anyway. So if you think $2.25 is too much I advice to get you a drink in ur bag during the whole trip. It would save you a lot of money from the terminal.

The Bus left at 7:20 PM from Dallas to Memphis. I thought I will have some pretty chill ride but was wrong. The whole bus was pack! So I went all the way to the back to find a good spot and found one! Good thing the guy next to me left just part of texas. So I got the entire spot 😂 Entertained myself with the wifi on board and boom! I exceeded the data usage before midnight haha!😖

I decided to just take a nap and Set my alarm to 3:45 to make sure I will not pass Memphis. Woke up with the speaker from the driver saying we're in Memphis.

4:10 am my arrival time and was thinking if I should go directly to the hotel or not.. I'm tired so I just did. The hotel is not that far from the bus station but it's not safe to walk knowing I'm a woman. Before my trip I downloaded the application called " LYFT " it's an application to get a private car , way way cheaper than normal ticket cab..and another application called " Free Ride ".. Searched the code for LYFT to get a free ride and viola found a credit worth $50 up to 5x free ride. The code is valid until end of the month but for new user only. So what I did I ask my friend to use her info for lyft new account and credited the code I found online. Now, I have a free ride here in Memphis!

So back to the topic. I opened the lyft application and get a cab. It didn't take long he pick me up with in 4 mins! I paid a total of $6.90 and $1 out of pocket for his tip the rest came from the lyft credit that I found.

Walked all the way to the front desk of the hotel and introduce my name that I'm a swift student. She was like " You are very very early! We normaly don't let people check in not until 4-5pm" I just smiled and said " Yes, mam but I'm excited to start my class " She asked for my DL , wrote down my name and signature. She look at me again and said " Wait I will try to find you a room. I know ur very tired.." And luckily she found one! Boy, I'm very thankful!! Also she explained all the policy and rules for student etc like at the end of the day I will have a roommate..

So yeap I'm now relaxing inside the hotel room. It's very decent I really like it! I'm very impressed with the cleanliness of the room :-)

They have fridge , microwave , blower and coffee maker. Wifi works good too so it's a plus!

I'm a typical backpacker and I hate spending too much when I go on a trip! Included my expenses so you will have an idea!

That's all for now guys! Xoxo! 😘
