Bill, sorry to disappoint you. The meat of driving school is to help you understand the laws of trucking. Hours of Service. Weights, and Balance. Truck rules of the road. Don't play School's Out Forever yet.
You'll also be introduced to backing. There will be a bit of driving so you can pass the CDL skills test. The real driving part begins when you load up with your road instructor.
