I guess you mean because you have none or it's very short? Yeah, I had that problem. I keep the hair on my head short, and they could only use head, underarm, or leg, and they couldn't get enough from any of those places. I had to wait a few weeks and let the hair on my head grow. But I did that at a walk-in clinic near me, before I went in to training.
Thanks man, so you did the screening at a facility in your area? Thats great! I really didn't want to get stuck in WI over some thing silly.

Daniel, every company handles the DOT Physical their own way. Some require you to take the physical and drug test at their facility, some will allow you to take it at an approved facility near your house. Ask Schneider what their policy is and let them know your concerns.
I believe most of the time they need 1 1/2 inches of hair to do the test but that could vary also.
A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.
State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.
Wow, I didn't expect such timely responses to questions, other forums I've looked at people don't get much respect let alone useful replies, I'm glad to have you guys in my corner.
Daniel when I took the Schneider pre-employment drug test it was at a clinic near where I live. I believe that is still how Schneider handles all new hires. Good luck!
I should have mentioned, I was talking about Schneider when I posted above. But it would be best to ask your recruiter, like Brett said.
...oh, and one more thing: I don't know for sure, but I suspect that if for some reason you have shaved all the hair off your body, they may consider that suspicious. When the assistant-type person first couldn't find enough hair on me, she went and got the doctor who came in and looked, and I think I heard the doctor say something about it looking like I just didn't have a lot of hair, which made me think maybe they were looking to see if there was some other reason.
There are many Companies that do not do a hair follicle test. You have lots of options. Why is Schneider your only choice?

That's true indeed. Unless you're obviously a bodybuilder or you're getting ready to swim in the Olympics there aren't too many people that shave their entire bodies. So they would consider that a bit suspicious but I don't think suspicion would have any influence over whether or not you'd pass the physical.

I'm not worried about passing any drug screens, I'm just concerned that because of the length of my hair and body hair that I may travel to Wisconsin only to be turned down for not being able to complete the test. Any input?
