Made it to my home terminal and been waiting for a load home. Asked a couple guys if they were waiting to and they were trying to get home as well. I tell them my situation and one of the guys gives his load to me to get me home! So now I drive past home to deliver in pueblo and then dh home from there. To make things better, it's a drop! I will definitely pay it forward in the future for another driver that is trying to get home.
Terminal:
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
