Pulled in here an hour or so ago. Guy at the gate said the moved about 200 Day Drivers out of this Terminal. WOW........WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!! There is actually some order around here today. Used to be Tractors and Trailers double and triple parked EVERYWHERE. Total Chaos. I wonder if the Fire Marshalls threatened to shut them down. This place was really a dangerous place to be if there was a fire. No way you could think about getting Fire Trucks or Personnel any where near the fuel islands or shop areas. Hell, you could barely maneuver a Bobtail around this place most of the time. What a nice Surprise when I showed up.
Tractor man are you going to be there a while? I am getting unloaded in Fontana right now. Probably gonna shut down at ontario.
Bobtail:
"Bobtailing" means you are driving a tractor without a trailer attached.
Terminal:
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

Well shoot, I just left there around noon today. Had to run to San Bernardino for a trailer, then to Lancaster, to Goleta and now I'm in Anaheim. Pickup in Carson tomorrow and heading for OK. I'll wave at y'allI drive by. LOL

Haha what a coincidence. It seems that quite a bit of us Swifties on here run on the west a lot.
