Not really, I've actually been mostly in the Midwest and the South. I'm pretty much convinced that my DM is an airhead. LOL She brought out here to do a B service on my truck and to add me to a western 11 team for the holidays. Now they're sending back out to OK and I get a message this morning that says if you are receiving this message it's because you haven't signed up for western 11 yet. WTF...LOL

Dm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

Maybe the lack of trailers at the terminal is because they moved them to Amazon or Walmart for Christmas. Just a guess. I'm having a hard time finding empty trailers at customers.

Every time I'm in California, I just want to get out of there. Nice place but too much traffic, 55mph and the list goes on..

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

No, my understanding is that they relocated a bunch of local day drivers. Maybe to Fontana, I've never been there, do not know the size of that Terminal or anything about it. Just spent 2 days there.......ugh.......it is not the overcrowded cluster *&$# it has been in the past.

The overall terminal blows but the yard dogs and the guys manning the truck wash kick butt. LOL
