Oregon has this: https://www.oregon.gov/ODOT/DMV/pages/form/audio_manual_cdl.aspx
But unfortunately it looks like a bunch of files. There's also this: Audio Book
Which looks like what you want but I don't know exactly what it is, whether it's someone reading the manual or an audio course someone came up with. You could also google "cdl audio manual", I think there may be others.
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.
State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.
The state agency that handles everything related to your driver's licences, including testing, issuance, transfers, and revocation.
I don't know for sure about any audio books but I see you're using our High Road Training Program. Stick with it and make sure you do the quizzes at the end of each page. That system is highly effective. You're already seeing how it will recycle questions from previous pages as a review to help reinforce the materials. You're going to be amazed at how well you retain the information. Stick with that program and you'll fly through the written exams for your permit and endorsements.
Here is how our program breaks down:
A pre-trip inspection is a thorough inspection of the truck completed before driving for the first time each day.
Federal and state laws require that drivers inspect their vehicles. Federal and state inspectors also may inspect your vehicles. If they judge a vehicle to be unsafe, they will put it “out of service” until it is repaired.
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
A written or electronic record of a driver's duty status which must be maintained at all times. The driver records the amount of time spent driving, on-duty not driving, in the sleeper berth, or off duty. The enforcement of the Hours Of Service Rules (HOS) are based upon the entries put in a driver's logbook.
A vehicle with two separate parts - the power unit (tractor) and the trailer. Tractor-trailers are considered combination vehicles.
Refers to pulling two trailers at the same time, otherwise known as "pups" or "pup trailers" because they're only about 28 feet long. However there are some states that allow doubles that are each 48 feet in length.
If you're near a computer with speakers this one is online http://cdlstudybuddy.com/ntds/audio.php

I'm loving the High Road Training Program, its a little slow with a quiz at the end of each page but it really seems to be helping me remember the stuff.
MC1371 thanks for the link I'll give that a listen to. When I'm not studying it'll be good back ground noise to hopefully heck enforce it in my memory.

Does anyone know where I can find an audio version of the CDL manual? I'm reading the paper one and while its only 150 something pages long, I would like to have an audio one to listen to while I'm multi tasking and doing other things. That way I'll have both read, and listened to a version of it. I also took a few practice tests on this site and the Test Your Knowledge questions at the end of each section and the two are very different from each other, which one would I be more worried about studying?
