Well the only experience I have with Prime is getting rejected after my Background check came back, lol. The reason, my license was suspended for an unpaid parking that I had got about a year ago which had been paid for about a year ago. I couldn't believe a non-moving violation was the reason for my rejection.

But what made me mad was that I clearly stated the suspension on the application, the recruiter man..... ****ed me off.

Now I have to resort to less desirable options. I still like Prime though, seems like a good company.

Good Luck Bro

I had a very long and trying day....KY hills hate my phone. I shot an email to one of the training specialists who I know will get back to me. I'll let you know what I find out.

Sort of unrelated, but what really is the only flaw I see with Prime is forced dispatch for company drivers. Want to choose my loads. Though I wouldn't wanna lease.

OOS:

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

Yeah, wouldn't we all. Unfortunately 99.9% of trucking companies won't allow you to do that. Everyone has forced dispatch for the most part, whether they say so or not.

Forced dispatch is common, and the norm. However realize this does not force you to drive if you believe it's unsafe due to weather/road conditions, equipment issues, or if you are sick.

As you gain experience and prove yourself as a top performer you can begin to request favorable loads. Sometimes you might get them, sometimes not.

Unless things have changed, I know of one big company that doesn't have forced dispatch. Won't mention it out of respect and to stay on topic here.

Its not as bad as u think. I told them I wasn't driving to the brewery in Cincinnati due to personal safety issues so they put that in my files. When they send me a load I tell them if i cant make it or won't have hours....if I want extra time on my break I tell them to make me unavailable until x time.

Not so bad.
