I am truck driving school here in iowa at scott community college I graduate December. I was young and stupid being that I am 22 and got 3 speeding tickets and one fail to obey traffic sign signal. one of my speeding tickets has been exactly 3 yrs. most companies look back 3 years so i would have 2 speed and 1 failure to obey traffic sign signal what trucking companies would give me a chance. I haven't had a ticket in over a year.

With speeding tickets it all depends on how fast u were going over the limit. I had two speeding tickets when I was applying to companies. They all asked me how fast I was going over the limit. With having these tickets on ur record u have cut down on number of companies that will talk to you but there are still plenty out there. Honestly I don't think it will hurt to apply to as many as you want. They turn u down on to the next one.

Try TransAm, Western Express and CR England. They are all considered second chance companies who hire those who might be turned down by the other major carriers.

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.
