Miramar is actually just north of Miami. It's closer to 95 then 75 - but being that you're coming from the more western side of the state 75 might be the way to go. If the company pays TOLLS and the toll route is approved - 75 to the FL Turnpike, will take you right into Miramar.
How much time you have on the load? Do they have a backhaul for you (because freight sucks coming out of here).
Get in touch if you like - maybe we'll hook up for a bite or cup of coffee.

My Companiy does pay tolls, but my truck isn't equipped with the Florida toll pass box. So I will have to avoid large amounts of tolls if possible. I rather not have to deal with being reimbursed.

I drove on Florida toll roads on one trip, no toll pass, didn't stop to pay. That was three months ago and neither Florida cops nor Swift has come after me.
I heard that toll roads simply bill the company and they pay up. If you're on that road every week, that's a different story.
What's the company recommended routing?
You can take 75 all the way - and end up in Miramar, or take 75 to 10E to 95S and end up there.
OR - you can try the "toll by plate" and the company should pay up - take 75 to the turnpike, turnpike S.
Give me a call either way.

I won't get routing until after I drop off the load that brought me home for Thanksgiving
Most toll roads in Florida do toll by plate if you don't have a toll pass. It takes a picture of your plate as you go through and they send the bill to the person or company the plate is registered to.
Getting reimbursed is easy, pay cash, save the receipts, request a P.O., and put it on your Wolding trip sheet, same as scales. Send the receipts along with the other Transflo documents, be sure to include the trip number, your truck # and any other info you may have. You'll get paid with the load.

Running down the turnpike with 5 axles can be quite costly - specially in both directions. $60 cash each way, from Wildwood to where he needs to get off (Golden Glades Interchange).
Better off letting them do "toll by plate" and bill the company. Where it would be interesting, is for example - a Jim Palmer tractor dragging a Prime reefer. They're going to get the tractor plate and bill Prime, Prime would have to figure out the JPT BOL to charge it back to.

A refrigerated trailer.
Yes, that could use up a person's cash pretty quickly. I've paid cash on the Mackinac bridge, and on the Kansas turnpike. Otherwise, I don't even think about it. We run around Chicago a lot, and I have no idea what the toll cost is.

Technically I am going to Miramar, FL. It looks like it is a suburb of Miami.
