Congrats Jay! I temrmber my 1st week Solo. Tense, Scary, Exciting, all at the same time. After only 5 months Solo,I am much more at ease and comfortable in most situations. Keep up the good work and "Watch Your Wagon" as G Town would say!

Finished my first week of drivin solo and I'm happy to report that I didn't hit anything! Lol I will admit that I did put the trailer tires over a curb. I drove about 2000 miles and even took a few showers. It was an experience. My only issue was missing my family. After working from home for the past 15 years I'm not used to being away from them. Not sure I will ever get used to it either. Hopefully I can get moved to a local route in 6 months.
Dm:
Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager
The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.
