It seems that Kalifornia has "Banned" plastic bags. So if you go into a Truck Stop and buy more than will fit in your pockets, bring your own disgusting, polluting, illegal contraband to place your items into. One Truck Stop charged me a dime for a puny paper bag that held exactly 2 cans of Rock Star. One more reason to hate this place. Gee I wonder what Drivers will use for trash bags now......never mind, seems like many of them just throw it on the ground anyways.

I've yet to see where it costs a quarter to use a cart. Bring the cart back and get ur quarter back. Maybe they had too many complaints and discontinued it.

Carts? Quarters? I'm confused.

Ya, read it a year, or more, ago. To get the cart out of the coral you pay a quarter. Return the cart and get a quarter back. Read it in some news article. Blew my mind. But didnt see it anywhere when I was out there.

Yeah....Kalifornia is its own Communist dictatorship. Use whatever bathroom you want, smoke all of the weed you want. But........ Don't you dare to use water to grow crops that feed the WORLD, and whatever you do, never ever use a plastic bag. Oh....by the way..... you're going to buy $300.00 worth of groceries at my store......pay me a Quarter to use the cart........and bring your own germ infested petri dish canvas bags that have been incubating God knows what in the trunk of your car in the 100 degree heat for the past several weeks. The sooner it snaps off of the Continent and floats out to sea the better!

That is at ALDI food stores so they can keep cost down they are a cheap alternative to the regular grocery store. Good prices on some name brands and then they have there own brand

We had the quarter in the carts about ten or fifteen years ago in jersey. Then they were done away with and the jobs are given to people with special needs and the stores get tax breaks for it.

Amen to this and an example as to why the Presidential election results were not so surprising to some of us. Thanks for the info on what it is like from a trucker point of view.

We had the quarter thing here in Chicagoland but had a problem with all the bums hustling you to bring your cart back.

I'm gonna start bringing in a trick or treat bucket to put my stuff in! Or a 55 gallon trash bag!
