Our trucks at Prime come with a RightWeigh in-cab scale that shows the weight on the drive axles. Our newer flatbeds have a scale near the rear tandems showing the weight on the rear axle set.
A set of axles spaced close together, legally defined as more than 40 and less than 96 inches apart by the USDOT. Drivers tend to refer to the tandem axles on their trailer as just "tandems". You might hear a driver say, "I'm 400 pounds overweight on my tandems", referring to his trailer tandems, not his tractor tandems. Tractor tandems are generally just referred to as "drives" which is short for "drive axles".

My 2016 International Prostar ES has a drive axle weight display on my dash info screen. It is a bit off but it works good enough for most loads when I have accurate load weight from the shipper , but I always CAT scale anything over 40k.

A network of over 1,500 certified truck scales across the U.S. and Canada found primarily at truck stops. CAT scales are by far the most trustworthy scales out there.
In fact, CAT Scale offers an unconditional Guarantee:
“If you get an overweight fine from the state after our scale showed your legal, we will immediately check our scale. If our scale is wrong, we will reimburse you for the fine. If our scale is correct, a representative of CAT Scale Company will appear in court with the driver as a witness”

and they are easily calibrated so if we see there is an issue we can fix them. i still scale out loads over 40k pounds but the in cab scale helps me get it in the right hole.
Our reefer trailers have them also, but i trust the calibration on my truck more than the trailer. i know my truck is right.

I've never had these in any truck I've driven. Here in the States, we usually have the opportunity to get to a truck stop that has a public scale to check our loaded weight. Sometimes the shippers have their own scale at the facility.
