I think a song's chorus that perfectly reflects entry into this lifestyle of trucking is Higher Ground by UB-40.

The chorus goes: "And every hour of every day I'm learning more The more I learn, the less I know about before The less I know, the more I want to look around Digging deep for clues on higher ground"

I see it as stating how you find out how little you truly know. As you learn the realities you find that your preconceptions are shattered. Only by seeking out knowledge do you find the keys to success.

What songs have inspired you during your beginnings in this industry?

Hey Daniel, how do you like working for williams? I ask because I have been doing OTR for 2 1/2 years now and am thinking being home every night is sounding pretty good. Thanks.

OTR:

Over The Road

OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
