HI I have been asking a lot of things on here as a guide for my future career change after the first of the year. I need a company that allows my wife and cat to go full time with me. I was told that central refrigeration does but the web site I looked at said no pets so how do I find reliable listings of companies that offer company cdl training and allow wife along and pet cat along?

Thank you Ron and Kathy

  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.

And what website said that they don't? I would love to know!

They do allow pets. I actually saw my friend Kathy today and she had her dog with her. They give you a sticker to put on your window. I been here almost a year successfully, I think I would know the policies of my company over some complainer on TruckersReport.

You need to quit looking at other sites for information because you'll continue to get mislead. You need to start calling up the companies and speaking with a recruiter. You have all the answers we can possibly give you. It's up to you now to go to the companies website and find their recruiting number and speak with a company recruiter. Googling "does central refrigerated allow pets" doesn't do you any good. So get to the phones because that's your next step.

The way to get accurate and up-to-date information is to talk directly with a company recruiter or with a current driver. Case in point, I am with Knight and their website says no pets, their employee handbook says no pets, but they changed their policy in the last month and now allow pets.
