I'm here in Albany NY, been running east as of late. My Fleet Manager has told me he will be looking to route us back up to Missoula so I can upgrade to my own truck. Pretty excited that it's almost over! Once we do get to Missoula I'll prob take a day or two, I want to hit Walmart, get things I may need. Fix my glasses, that I broke. 😑 Do laundry and all that, then set the truck up and all that then be ready to roll! I'll be heading home tho, so back east I go but I miss my wife and daughter, so it'll be nice to see them. But overall, the extra training has been great. My shifting has improved and I'm feeling less nervous and all that since I know I can hit the dang gears! Haha but yeah, I'm pretty excited to take the next step. I know I need a lot of practice out there with backing and all that but that'll all come in time. I just know lots of GOALs and take my time. No rush for me. I'll do my best to be as safe as I can and to keep everyone else safe around me. Good thing is most of those people fly on by me anyways! But yeah, just figured I'd do a quick update. I'll keep everyone posted. Hopefully by next week I'll be going solo!

Be safe everyone and have a good one.

Aaron

Fleet Manager:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

Thanks everyone. I'm just glad to be leaving the east as of right now. Heading to IL. Should be able to get a load out of Midwest that can take me by Missoula. We will see tho. But I'm just anxious to get my truck!!
