THANKS, Scott. I will, indeed, start using the "High Road Training". I want to be fully prepared.
Welcome Greg, and best of luck to ya! Work hard now to prepare. It will pay off nicely. You're going to be overloaded with information once the schooling and training behind the wheel begin. If you can really learn the written materials well now you'll be way ahead of the game.
We've gotten to know some of the people running Jim Palmer a little bit and they're great folks. It's a top notch operation for sure. If you go there and give it everything you've got you'll be glad you did.
Brett, THANK YOU, for the encouragement, AND this website!! I am going to use it for EVERYTHING. I've read your warnings about what the business is REALLY like, and I agree with you wholeheartedly!! I am going to listen to, and take counsel from rational individuals such as yourself, and dismiss all the negative "whining" that I see so frequently on U-Tube. I KNOW the beginning is going to be hard. I will go deep within, and draw from the knowledge that I CAN make it through that first tough year, break through, and come out the other side into a lifestyle and a career that is fulfilling. THANKS AGAIN!! : )
Cannot overemphasize this enough; the High Road training will put you ahead of everyone in your class. A1 training for free...
Go get it Greg! Study up and have fun...
@ Bill F. & otrEscapeArtist: THANK YOU, both, for the encouragement. I appreciate that, very much. I am going to Git 'r done!! And change my life, AND lifestyle, ENTIRELY. : )
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
