Hello all,

As I said in my last post, I may be leaving trucking do to the need for me to be home more often due to my g/f having MS and having a 12 y/o son.

well, after looking at my company, and not finding anything that would get me home enough, and talking with my g/f, I found out that the school I went to to get my CDL is looking for P/T instructors.

I had messaged the placement person at the school about it and gave her my number, since I met all the requirements for the job (3 years solo, former student at the school, etc). She got back to me shortly after I picked up my load and was on my way to the truck stop I am spending the night at with not only the school number, but the cell number to the owner of the school. She also told me he wants to talk to me about it... So when I stopped for the night, I messaged her back letting her know I would call in the morning when I get to my second stop about 1030.

I am hoping to get good news saying I can start soon.... I figured if he asks me when I can start, I will let him know 7/30, since I want to give my 2 weeks at my company, turn in my truck, and leave on good terms.....

I will post another update soon....

Chris
