What type of technology can one typically expect to find with the major carriers and newer trucks. Do they have Wifi, 120 volt charging, GPS, Sirius XM radio or option for me to pay for any of theses items. What about Satellite TV? I know that might be expecting a bit much, but I have seen some mention of the unbelievable technologies available in the newer rigs.

Here's a ton of great information for you:

I'm sure others will chime in with some of the stuff they have going on. I know some of our members have full gaming computers set up and basically a full kitchen in their truck. You can go crazy if you want to. There are a lot of options.

Most companies have GPS to some extant built into the on board computer, ie: Quailcomm. CFI gives us Sirius/XM radio. We have inverters for A/C. Different companies have different options. Some give satellite TV, others have options to buy it through the company. You can always add your own. Some have refrigerators included. Hope that helps.

I actually was thinking of you when I saw this topic. I never did anything beyond cereal and sandwiches in my truck. If I wanted a hot meal I went into the truck stop. Though in thinking about it now a crock pot would have been awesome. Then again, I don't know if I could stand the smell of wonderful food cooking all day long without losing my mind. I have enough trouble trying to keep myself from eating continuously without having wonderful smells surrounding me all day long.
