Thanks, Guys. That helps a lot. My other concerns are finding a business where I live (Wooster, Ohio) that will allow me to park the truck in their lot. I live in a nice mobile home community, but they definitely would not allow me to park there! There are four truckstops (2 Loves, a TA, and a Pilot) within 15 miles of Wooster. 1) The safety of the truck or load and two getting home from the truck stop. I doubt they allow personal vehicles to park there for weeks at a time, and I definitely cannot see paying an Uber, taxi, etc.. to and from home. Any suggestions about where to park a semi on hometime are appreciated.

You can usually find a business like Walmart, or Home Depot, that will let you park. Just talk to the manager., there.

OOS:

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

Do you have family or friends that would be willing to help you with the logistics of getting home from where you parked the truck? The understand not wanting to pay an uber or taxi to get home but I can't see it being that expensive (maybe $10? For uber) . Perhaps you could find a place that would rent you a spot to park your car, then park the truck there on hometime however that's going to be more costly than just using uber/taxi.

No, no family or friend options for parking. Uber would be a lot more than $10-15 from the truck stops. The local Walmart is definitely NO parking. I would need to check the local Lowes and other businesses with larger lots in Wooster. There is an Econo Lodge that allowed parking a few years ago, but new owners, so I am not sure. It is close to some lounges, so I would be a little nervous about the young un's" messing with the truck.

If I did not have a trailer hooked up, I may have better options.
