Stay in your truck as long as you can - no rent, no utilities expense.
PackRat: I ate breakfast there yesterday! I've been going to truck stops for a while now to get used to them and to talk to drivers to get a feel for what the life is like. I offer to buy them a cup of coffee, or pay for their meal, for a few minutes of their time. As I've learned here, most are great people.
Errol: Great advice. I hated selling, but the county was going to take it for back property taxes owed. I didn't get near what I could have as it was very run down due to my financial situation. I did the best I could to make lemonade out of lemons though and am excited to finally be moving forward.
Stay safe out there, everybody! Colin K.

This is "dangerous". Sure you get a "feel" for trucking, but since you're a novice, your BS meter isn't adjusted yet. Bring a sack of salt to take with your conversations.
Colin K, Keep that attitude to fight through any problem thrown in your path. That is the attitude for success. You really want this and are doing what it takes to achieve your goals. You have sure beat some great odds so far. Best of luck to you.
