Right on, Rainy! No one is so totally useless that they cannot at least serve as a bad example.

Even a bad trainer can teach you things..you can learn what NOT to do. learn from his mistakes.

I find a big issue with him fiddling with the phone if he is driving like you stated, there is no way in hell you should be having to tell him to stop the truck once, let alone 3 times.

I had a terrible trainer, yet I still developed into a halfway decent driver.

OS, I disagree with this. You became an honest to God living legend in this industry. Don't sell yourself short. You became one of the best drivers in this industry. Your advice on here is always legendary on here and the articles ya keep puttin out give the best possible advice for any new driver. I owe a lot to you since I became a lead because if I didn't take yalls advice on what it takes to be a top tier driver, I wouldn't be in a great position with CRST. If I was to ever meet yall I would be more honored than I would if I got to meet the president. 😁
