Hello folks. This is about CFI. Is Cortney the only recruiter at CFI? I'm having no luck contacting her either by phone or via message. I've put in a app. In early May and it took many phone calls on my behalf to pin her down. Now she sent me a conditional offer of employment for CDL training. I signed it and sent it in. I've messaged her too. Zero. Nothing. Now I do live in the corn and talking out here requires I travel 2 miles away to chat. Still, she/they have my email&phone to text/contact. Perhaps she is just swamped with new hires which brings me back to my OP. Thanks. New suggestions for CDL training are welcome. (Please)

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

CFI is a big company, so I would almost certainly believe she is not the only recruiter. If you are not having luck getting ahold of her, just call and see if another recruiter can put you in touch with her.

She is the main recruiter for students. It is always best to contact her by email as she is always swamped by calls. Be patient. Today is Friday and we just finished a holiday week and many people were off. She will respond.

Cortney just reached out to me this morning via phone and email.

Thanks again Big Scott for that info.
