So I decided to make a change, again. I switched from Roehl (whom I loved working for) and will be starting at Ruan Transport. I’ll be working out if the Target DC In Amsterdam serving stores in the Northeast. This will give me the opportunity to plant roots closer to my 12 year old son and see some of his sporting events.

I tested out today in a Freightliner Automatic...which was great. My left knee feels wonderful tonight.

I’ll try to give updates every now and then. I don’t think there many drivers running for them in this forum.

Ruan is a good company. I am in and out of a lot of HON /HSI/Exel/locations. Ruan is their biggest contract carrier, we are their second. I talk with a lot of their drivers.

Looking forward to reading your experience.

Tim, Ruan has developed a real niche in running dedicated accounts. That's the kind of work I'm doing on this SAPA account at Knight Transportation. There's some real benefits to this type of trucking job, along with the opportunity to make some great money. After you've been doing it awhile you'll begin to realize some great ways to maximize efficiencies at managing your clock and knowing unique places you can park so that you can really get more accomplished. Plus, who wouldn't love the chance to get to share a few extra special moments with their young son? It sounds like you've found a great opportunity!
