Got My Truck Today

I got my truck today, nothing super special. But I'm proud!

Awesome, exciting stuff. What color? I had the white one. Had to get it detailed as soon as I received it because whoever had it before me looked like they drove through q field of bugs and half eaten Oreo's in the sleeper. How nice of them haha

Aww.. exciting time indeed. I remember upgrading and getting my first truck like it was this morning. I sat grinning from ear to ear for a couple hours, then it was like, "holy ****.. now I've got to pick up and deliver freight all by myself" lol. Some days I was too tired to even bother eating at the end of a drive shift. One day I literally bawled for hours after a car HIT me and a brand new officer who didn't know what he was doing, issued ME a citation.. that cost me a pretty penny to "make go away" but I also learned how to not let that happen in the future after excellent advice from an attorney, my company, and some other experienced drivers. It was erroneously called a preventable by my company, causing me to not be named rookie of the year at our annual award ceremony lol, but more importantly, when I got my annual review, the error was discovered, acknowledged, and imnediately corrected.

Anywho, the point of all this is that you will have some challenging days ahead, but nothing that isn't insurmountable with a good attitude.
