Wiltrans / Palmer haul for Prime as contractors and have access to their terminals and services.
I've heard nothing of Prime buying them.
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
Wil Trains has a terminal the next traffic light down that does training like we do. They also have a day cab division Wilson Logistics that does local dedicated, including Kraft in Sprimo.
Earl Henderson also hauls for us as well as many other smaller fleets. I have been to the Henderson yard near St Louis, so if you need parking there, you can stop.
Every once in awhile you will need to pick up/drop a trailer at one of their yards.

A tractor which does not have a sleeper berth attached to it. Normally used for local routes where drivers go home every night.
I see, makes sense, hadnt heard anything from prime about it, so when the driver told me that, I felt the need to question it.
As the story goes, Darrel Wilson and Robert Low have been long time friends. Rumor is the Low help finance the purchase of Jim Palmer Trucking. I've seen no proof but it's a neat story.

Is it true? Been seeing several Wiltrans trucks in sprimo and heard today that Prime bought both companies? Any trucking truth to that?
