Since I've started with Schneider most of my loads were assigned to me a few hours before my next available time was set. But today I started my 34 hour reset about 6 hours ago, so I still have a bit to go but they already assigned me a load picking up tomorrow night. Pretty excited I got one so early just so I know where I'm heading to next, but sadly they're sending me back up to the North East... Newark, NJ. I was enjoying my time in the South the past week and a half. embarrassed.gif

I haven't had the time to check the weather up that way, but I'm planning to be night driving while I'm heading to the load to avoid traffic and what not.

My training engineer told me the pre-assignments come in earlier as the driver gains experience and time with the company. He usually had more than one pre-assignment on his schedule because he ran dedicated to one customer, GP.

My appointment is anytime on the 11th, so hopefully things will have passed by then. I'm currently 815 miles away, and I won't be leaving until tomorrow at 20:30

Yeah I figured that might be the case, I was never told that by my training engineer as if I'm not mistaking he said pre-assignments are usually giving out a few hours before your NAT. I know recently I've been getting them more often, sometimes as soon as I start my 10 hour break or even before. But never 28 hour before my reset is over, but it's good to know they have some faith in me! rofl-1.gif

Yup, I think that’s a good sign for you.

I got two pre-assignments for tomorrow but sadly I cannot make with appointment times because it's tomorrow morning while my current load appointment is 17:00 tomorrow. embarrassed.gif

Even if I got unloaded early I'd still need a 10 hour break before I could do either of the other ones. đŸ˜and they were sending me back south.
