Never a good idea to park under any bridge or overpass in a tornado, as winds there will be higher and moving from multiple directions.

Ok, so what is the right thing to do if driving and it looks like a tornado might be imminent? I can’t remember if I’ve ever heard this particular scenario discussed and would like to know more. Do you change routes and try to drive away from the storm?

Try to avoid. If not possible, stop, get out of tractor, seek a low area (a ditch or any area lower than the surrounding areas)or a sturdy structure with no windows. Lay down, curl up, and cover head and neck areas. Final thought would be to pray.

Checking the weather report would then be the logical first step, I assume.

Thanks for asking I’m okay just had to run hard to make up for the lost time. When I can’t see the people in front of me on a road it’s time to get off. Sure there was others that kept driving but not me.
