You gotta paint your truck red now to match those two!

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

I’m on my third red truck from three different companies now. Next one I want is charcoal grey or some color other than red or gold.

Very nice PJ.

What year is the Harley?

And in reference to the other thread, how often to you get runs to Canada?

Thanks Rob, The bike is a 2017. Has the 107 motor. Since starting this trucking career I pretty much put riding on hold. I have been re-evaluating some things lately and the time has come to get back to enjoying life instead of working myself to death.

The company has been sending me up there more and more the last several months. They have been trying to get me to do a dedicated run to Brampton Ontario, but I’m not interested. We had 4 drivers that just ran up there and 2 of them are no longer with us. It’s a beautiful country, but I like staying in the states.

Dedicated Run:

A driver or carrier who transports cargo between regular, prescribed routes. Normally it means a driver will be dedicated to working for one particular customer like Walmart or Home Depot and they will only haul freight for that customer. You'll often hear drivers say something like, "I'm on the Walmart dedicated account."

Man you went whole hog!. Pun intended.

I was up in Canada for a motorcycle trip the first two weeks of August. Rode the Trans-Labrador Highway. Over 100 miles of gravel with potholes. Fun stuff.

But the most amazing picture from Red Bay Labrador is below. It took me a minute to realize what was on the horizon.

Lol, I would love to take the bike up there. Much more enjoyable than the truck for sure.
