Did you buy the phone from a Verizon Store..? I have the Old plan also and don't want to loose it

If you buy your phone from Verizon you will lose your old plan because they will force you to upgrade to a new plan with a new phone. You can buy a new phone on Craigslist or ebay, I bought my samsung s4 on ebay for like 215.

OOS:

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

I heard if you are willing to pay the full retail price you could keep the Old Data Plan...most people won't pay the full price for a phone when they can get a cheap upgrade price instead...Anyway in my case I would spend over a $100 a month on data if I had to switch plans and I'm not even driving yet...

I bought the phone at the Verizon store cause it was the cheapest I found. Paid full price for it and added it on my plan.

Thanks Guy, That's what I'm going to do when my current phone craps out again...I just bought an extended life battery and so far it's fixed some of the problems I was having but my Droid X2 is 3 yrs old and running real slow plus locks up a lot...It's about time for a new one I just don't want to loose my unlimited...

I don't shop ebay anymore...My bank account got stripped thru their lousy paypal...my bank caught it, thank goodness...I shop on Amazon...and have never had a problem with anything I've bought, or my account. You can get about anything on there that you could get on ebay.

Ken if your phone is running slow d/l an app called clean sweep. it allows you to free up a bunch of RAM for your phone. Plus the app is free. Since my so called smart phone is one of the cheap pre-paid ones clean sweep allows me to keep my phone running great. Have had this phone almost a year and it is still going strong. My first smartphone shot craps within the first 6 months.

The Note 3 is what I'm going after!! My DROID Razor is 3 yrs...and it is dragging ___, makes me so mad! lol I downloaded an app to clean it up and it made it worse. Can't remember which one, because I have taken it off but I think the cache is still in the system. I'm up for an upgrade now, heading to Verizon Monday...Yay for me!! So I'm glad to see GuyJax post about this!

HELLLLLLO OLGA!!! So glad to finally see you....now you can keep Daniel in check!!! rofl-1.gif Hopefully after my better half is finished with training, he will show his face more!

StarCar....I am afraid of ebay, never had an experience with them, just don't get a "good vibe"...so I'm on your side about Amazon!

Daniel, I'm not sure if you know or not, but Verizon will give Prime employees 19% off of their bill.
