Congrats on the acomplishment!
It seems I'm at the point you were a few weeks ago. Trying to decide if I should take the plunge or not after a career in a completly different field. I admire the courage it took to make that plunge. Best of luck in getting your career rolling.
Great work! Any idea where you plan on beginning this exciting, rewarding career?

I been looking at this forum for months and months, looking to start a career in trucking. I finally said screw it and took the plunge. Took 2 weeks and studied my CDL permit. Quit my job knowing I NEVER drove a big rig before and was taking one hell of a chance and going full steam ahead. I just took my time and did not rush my learning. I just took my CDL road test and passed it. I am very excited to get on the road. I feel like this will be very rewarding. I am 35, I have a wife and 2 kids one almost 18 and one 11. I came from IT career, I felt like I was not growing there and after 9 years there was no improvement. So I am very excited to see where this takes me.
