I'm almost positive that this is going to be a big no-no, and will probably go against your company policy since marijuana is only legal state wise and not on a federal level.
I agree with Jamie, almost guarantee it is against company policy. As a CDL holder your rig can be inspected at any time for any reason. As the operator, you are responsible for everything in that vehicle. If you have enough in possession you will be banned from driving for life as theyll take on smuggling, or intent to deliver using a CMV. Is it possible she could use the CBD oil and still benefit to reduce the pain?
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
A CMV is a vehicle that is used as part of a business, is involved in interstate commerce, and may fit any of these descriptions:
Completely illegal. It is an illegal substance declared by the Federal Government, which cancels any state or local statute. Not to mention traveling across state lines.
As a driver, I cannot even possess an unopened bottle of beer on my truck or trailer without it being declared as cargo on a Bill Of Lading.
Any company will never allow it. Sorry.
Thank you. Exactly what I was expecting. Will look into the CBD oil. Thanks for your replies.

Hi Gentelman. Have a serious question about having a passenger with a medical marijuana card. Does any one on here know anything about this yet? My fiance wants to go on the road with me. She has scoliosis and desperately needs marijuana for her pain. I of course do not smoke. Any knowledge out there? Thank you.
