Why would the student want to?
Combative already?
It's my understanding that Prime hooks you up with your trainer's Fleet Manager after upgrading. Who can a student talk to to request a different FM upon upgrading?
Being I was trained by a lease driver and I went company, I asked the company fm that I want if I could come on his board. Once he was okay with it, I told lease fm what fm I wanted. Are u trying to save your student some pain ?
Good question, PackRat. That's often the case. However my student is not what he may appear to be based on his request for a different FM. Also, I understand that members here are very interested in knowing his reasons for wanting a different FM. It's what we do...Offer advice based on specifics of the topics being addressed. However, this topic is only about how to request a different FM. If my student wanted to come on the forum and talk about his reasons, that would be great. Im not going to speak for him.
Donna, He has some concerns about his current potential FM. All business-related. Nothing personal. Like I said it is not my place to speak for him. Sorry I can't be more specific.
Operating While Intoxicated
He can go to jason seymore and ask

Fm:
Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager
The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.Fleet Manager:
