Took me awhile to get a load today, was sitting until around 4pm. Then I went to get fuel and my fuel card was declined! I had no idea there was a fuel plan 😂 my trainer was lease so we just got fuel whenever we wanted. Traffic was a bit tight getting out of Nashville. Still getting used to driving a International for the first time. And to be honest it drives like a cloud! I think they definitely get a bad rap from other truckers I talk to in the company. My one and only gripe is that I wish the mirrors were a little bigger. With the Cascadia it felt like I could see the entire world behind me. I am heading to Rochester NY. Pulling it in early to start driving with the sun! Feels great to finally be on my own. Honestly, I’m in love with it right now.

Have about 600 miles to go and almost done my clock so I parked her for the night. When I first pulled into this truck stop I thought all the spaces were full but to my relief & anxiety there was a spot between two trucks. It was tight but I was able to get it in perfect! With a couple of pull ups at least haha. I’m really happy to see some improvements in my backing. Turtle is still one of the best backers ive ever seen.

So you got your wonky gremlins worked out?!?!? Cool, if so... (hope so!) << You left us 'hanging' in the other thread, LoL~!

Glad you got parked safely. Consider yourself blessed, having BEEN trained by Turtle. Yep, he rocks, so I hear!!

Best wishes, stay safe!

Anne :)

Also I’ve been listening to so much Grateful Dead, I’ve been having dreams of songs that don’t even exist. Seems like the right dead song comes on at the oh so perfect time. God I wish I was born about 30 years earlier to experience being a deadhead.

Deadhead:

To drive with an empty trailer. After delivering your load you will deadhead to a shipper to pick up your next load.

Go to archive.org, search Grateful Dead. Just about every show is there to listen or download for free.

ENJOY!!!!!
