Monday I start orientation with Wiley Sanders Transportation. This go round I am taking a bus so I will have to leave early Sunday morning. Its bitter sweet because I'm excited about the job and I have family that I have to provide for but its hard because I will away from my wife and 2 boys. This time I have to get over my fears and not second guess myself. Well pray for me guys.

Congratulations on getting set up with Wiley, Mike B.!

Your mixed feelings are to be expected. It's wonderful that you're excited about this opportunity and I hope, and I will pray, too, that you maintain this excitement and that it leads you confidently into success in this part of trucking that you've had to defer for a long time.

It's an enormous blessing to be able to provide for a family and I hope that will sustain you, too. good-luck.gif

Mike B,

I start orientation at Prime Monday, March 23. This is my first "go round" so I am sure that many of your fears are the same as mine.

I plan to keep a training diary so you will have someone else who is going through the same thing that you can follow. We can encourage each other when we have bad days and want to quit. Marc Lee and I have a friendly competition going as to who completes 100,000 safe solo miles first.

Good luck and share your experience with us. I think everyone on this forum wants us to succeed.
