Both Knight and Swift have terminals in Florida. They are also both heavily involved in "Dedicated Service" contracts with some of their customers. That's worth a try.
Also I think Cypress Truck Lines runs a solid operation. They are in Florida and have some accounts that enable drivers to get home most weekends.
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
Hey everyone,
I had a quick question. Im thinking about getting my CDL just to better support myself and wife. I was wondering if anyone knew of any companies that hire in Florida and offer dedicated routes for new CDL grads?
I am okay with being out multiple days, I am just looking to be home like once a week and just run the southeast states. Thanks for the help! Stay safe.
Don't know anything about the company but these guys are out of Winter Haven and I see them throughout the Southeast.

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
A driver or carrier who transports cargo between regular, prescribed routes. Normally it means a driver will be dedicated to working for one particular customer like Walmart or Home Depot and they will only haul freight for that customer. You'll often hear drivers say something like, "I'm on the Walmart dedicated account."
Indian River Transport is a tanker company. It’s recommended a rookie get a minimum of 1 year experience before handling bulk liquid.
Swift is the Walmart Dedicated Transportation partner for the Winter Haven DC.
