Here's A Tight (FUN!) Dock

Had a 3rd party delivery in SE Iowa to the small town of Agency (600 population) I was unsure where the dock is so I asked a trainer that was getting his paperwork at the same time

he told me go down street just out of view to the right and hook a left into the alleyway behind and theres an outside scissor lift just below the white pickup on top.

had to hook a left into the alleyway and had leaves trying to catch a ride inside the cab.

scissor lift is just past the dumpster. I was off by about 6 inches of getting the plate in on my first shot so I pull out and did it good enough the plate went in. Here is the view of being docked

The trainer also told me that you can not drive over the grass or driveway of neighboring homes. I ended up having gone just into the grass because I had a couple clippings on my steer but it was already rutted up. Thankfully the rain hadn't started yet to cause new ruts. After the fun of getting in and unloaded I was informed to get out I must back out the same way I came in to alley on other side of street then go out.

I ended up getting a bag of their product because they said I did better than most drivers. Those close quarter backs are somewhat stressful but fun. The sense of accomplishment (and compliments!) when you're done is great! Plus having a kid that appeared to be 6 yrs old giving me a thumbs and and an arm pump helps too!

This is why i love this website. That looks intimidating yet you did it with confidence. Me on the other hand it would have taken me about 1hr, 1000 pull ups and resets, and tear filled cry to dispatch to never send me to a place like that lol.Thanks for sharing!

Its truly amazing the docks some places can come up with. Someone has to look at it and say " yes let's try to cram a truck in there multiple times a day."

I find it surprising that they send combo’s to stores like that. Would make sense to have a small box truck division(reefer and dry) for those stores to minimize the chance of an Incident.

Shoot! Don't be surprised at all. Usual response is, "We get big trucks in here all the time." Liars.
