Think about how easy it will be to disable an autonomous truck. A kid with spray paint can spray the optical sensors and it’s dead in the street.

Hmm...a new business opportunity. I’ll charge $200+ service call to go out and clean it up and get it going again. Do that three or four times a day and I’m SET!

Not too long ago I came across an article from 2015 that said Autonomous trucks will be here in five years.

Here we are in 2021 and it didn't happen.

I think the OP is blowing smoke.

I’m with pack and old school here life changes everyday don’t be scared of anything I have my moments too but at the end of the day I’m not afraid of nothing !! But failing!!! And the only way you fail is if you never try!!!
