Rob, the guy took the time to get off his bike and give you the ‘suck it’ crotch chop a lá Degeneration X? I’m sorry, I know you’re upset, but DANG that’s funny!
Re: your question, I’ve been using the Rexing V1 dashcam for almost four years w/no problems. I have the wide-angle version that also works well at night. The only issue would be I don’t know about putting it up and removing it for each shift. It mounts to the windshield w/double-sided tape. That might be an issue with any dashcam.

He actually did it while still sitting, no hands on the handle bars. I found it quite bizarre. Some of the stuff we see out on the roads people wouldn't believe.
I found some cheap ones for $20 on Amazon but you get what you pay for. I've always had trouble with the suction cup on GPS units falling but I'm thinking that's going to be my only option slip seating.
Did you get the Rexing v1 ?
Review?
Rob, would you be able to use Velcro to mount it? I have a Gamin dashcam that I have been using for a couple of years. I don't review it much. It came with a magnetic disc that stuck to the windshield that that held the camera. That was lost in a truck move. I made it work with super strong Velcro.
You want a camera with good night and low light features, also an app or easy way to get the video off the camera.
My Garmin has an app, but I must be stopped to use it. I know how to get them in the app, but not from the app to my phone.
Velcro wouldn't work as i switch trucks daily. I ended up just buying a cheap $30 dashcam with a suction cup that I put in the lower portion of my windshield. I didn't need anything special I can save it then upload to my computer in the event I need to.

I am guessing it uses a memory card to save the videos… I recommend going to Walmart and buying the card with the largest memory capacity… That way if something happens at the beginning of your shift 14 hours later you will still be able to access it, it will not have been recorded over in the loop.
Ordered APEMAN Dash Cam 1080P And 128GB card to get 14 hours loop recording.
Like the look; comes with suction cup mount; swivels while attached to suction cup to record conversation with lawdog.
Apeman went on back order with no eta. Ordered Innosinpo with 128GB card $50+tax. 5min setup: time, frame rate, format card. Works well, in driveway.

What personal dashcams are you guys using? After recent events I've experienced on the road it's got me feeling the need to buy a dashcam to cover my butt in the event something happens. We do not have drivecams. I slipseat daily so I need something easy to install and take down at the end of my shift.
Starting my day in the wee hours of the day I've had 3 different occasions someone blows a red-light (all in Omaha) but the final straw was this morning. 3:30 AM north side of cedar Rapids 4 lane road (Collins road) separated by a grassy median in a 45 mph zone I was doing 35 due to somewhat icy conditions and all the stop lights. Guy on a bicycle riding directly towards me forced me to brake not knowing what his intentions were, then he did the ol' "suck it" motion from WWE in the early 2000s and swerved back towards the rear of my trailer. Thankfully nothing happened but this was the final straw.
