Anybody have any experience working for Ryder?

I put in an application with them years ago for a nightly linehaul route. Never heard back after the second phone interview.

Linehaul:

Linehaul drivers will normally run loads from terminal to terminal for LTL (Less than Truckload) companies.

LTL (Less Than Truckload) carriers will have Linehaul drivers and P&D drivers. The P&D drivers will deliver loads locally from the terminal and pick up loads returning them to the terminal. Linehaul drivers will then run truckloads from terminal to terminal.

My dad is a shop supervisor for them, personally he is not a huge fan. However that is probably just his region and doesn't have anything to do with their drivers.

They got the new contract for our Goodyear account and I’m wondering about switching over to them or transferring to another account with J.B. Hunt. I have no complaints about my current company but I like running the Goodyear account and I know if Ryder doesn’t uphold to their word I would have any problem getting back on at J.B. Hunt.
