Appointment in Jerome ID to pick up cheese load going to Greensboro NC was set for 0920. Typical of this company, I'm still sitting and it's 1050. Heard from my weatherman ;-) and WY (plus CO) is supposed to get snow starting this afternoon 😝

IDMtnGal,

Be careful with that nasty winter weather still wreaking havoc out there. I'm still looking forward to our meet and greet in Crossville, Tn.

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.
