So I was backing into a dock today. Dollar general market that used to be a freds. These docks are so steep you need to unhook and lower your landing gear so rolltainers don’t come flying off. When I got done and started my truck i was losing air pressure and heard the leak . Got out and looked and the white line going to my differential had snapped. The way I saw it i could call breakdown and wait for awhile and listen to the annoyingly loud leak. (Hotter than hell I’m not gonna stop idling )Or fix it and get to my next stop before it started getting hotter. It was actually a fairly simple fix and got it knocked out in 20 minutes. Still no clue how it snapped . Forgot to take a picture of the actual line On my way to the next stop I called my fm and asked how long I was due out for my next pm and he said i could actually do it today. So the quick fix got me going , and allowed me to get down the road about 100 miles so I could get a shower and knock out 2 birds with one stone. I’m constantly trying to find ways to (safely) save time and be more productive. Morale of the story yet again is to keep tools and get on down the road

Fm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

Took awhile to get all of the broken piece of line out but after that it was relatively simple.

That is odd, because after seeing that photo, that's a problem I would think of as a Cold Weather Months issue from way up north or out west

I dunno ,it seemed odd to me too cause I hadn’t had any problems like it before 🤷🏻‍♂️

Holy wow, Ray!

I had to ask the worser half what the heck on that one, haha!

Didn't see a vid, but will check later, LoL!!

Ps: last time i got to thinking 'in' my feet, they were level with my head, in an ottoman!!!! (& they didn't obey the 'GET' command like my puppers!) Recliner stayed stuck..haha!

I'm sorry; not joking at the sake of your tough day... you sincerely amaze me! I've told Tom imma sign him up w/YOUR company for 2x the money, and he gets that 'scaredy' face on! (He couldn't do it, haha!)

Just playing, man..always SOMETHING!!!! His drop & hook became a live unload because he refused the empty with 'major' damage .. sad to say, Amazon. No words. Looking for some 'lame'o' to drag it.. yep!

Best always;

~Anne~(&Toms!)
