What I've gotten from this thread is:

1. California sucks.

2. Somebody needs to make a deal with Mexico to put a giant canal across Baja California and another one north from the Gulf of California to Arizona, just so we can have a port in a sensible state because,

3. California sucks giant donkey balls.

Did I miss anything?

Exordium & Terminus (In the year, 2525) ... just not 2025!!. . . on a lyrical day!!!

Hey Anne!

Things are ok with me. Been at Western Express since August and just quit yesterday. Its off to May Trucking Co now. New year, new company. I was poorly trained and want to get a fresh start at a new company and get more training. I could write an essay about my experience at Western and I might one day but for now I'm just trying to forget it all. It was pretty bad. As far as the job itself, I mostly enjoy it. Just driving in CA sucks and that's where I mostly drive unfortunately. I also have a pretty intense fear of trying to back into a space at a busy truck stop that I'm struggling to get over. Other that that, all is well. Thanks for checking in. Lol, That was a cool song, never even heard of it actually.

Awh, man!! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good to hear from you; SORRY about Western, dangit. You struggled SO HARD just to get a foot (butt?) in a truck, I know. Darnit.

Training has been a HUGE conundrum lately. Read the DIARIES right here on TT. Some good, some not so. Sadly.

Re: the backing . . . it's EVERYONE'S conundrum. I know, I speak it like I know it. I don't. I respect it, however! I get to practice on a REAL truck, a few times through the week, just backing in and out of our own property, different which ways. Truck stops are scary animals, NO MATTER, imho!! You get in, you get your supper & your nap, you're good to go. Don't let THEM judge; and don't .. EITHER! ;)

Well, I think you SHOULD start a diary of May trucking, beginning with your Western Essay in a nutshell !! (Please???? For me????) We don't have any, currently. It'd sure help .. kind of a 'pay it forward' kinda thing...LoL ! Also, my personal curiosity, haha . . . !! <<<< this!

Why are you tethered to Cali, anyway? I've got family in Hawaii ... and I 'understand' that ..... but the oversized chainsaw to cut Cali off the contiguous 48 hasn't gotten off the boat from China yet, HAHAHA!

I've got some CRAZY taste in music; check out some of the banter, between me & Kandyman. Yeah, that one .. showed my age .. .haha!

As always, email in bio; just wish you'd stop in and hang OUT here, w/ usn's !!!!

Respect & Kudos, for still driving, Garrett.
