Do you have peoplenet’s phone number. Mine works fine. It may be something goofy in your system. I have had a vouple issues with updates where 1 file didn’t transfer correctly. Peoplenet was able to resend over the air and straightened it out. If you don’t have their number hollar and I’ll get it for you. It should be on the bottom of your instruction sheet.

I’m give them a call and see what they say. Crete has some dedicated phone number we can call for PeopleNet support. Because it’s rather annoying since it’s very useful for this dedicated account.

Even more confused now, called the people net support line, explained the problem, be mentioned something about how my people net is setup on a 8 day thing and how the sleeper provision for it isn’t setup or something along those lines and how I needed to call someone from my company. So I called the logs department but the lady said how she doesn’t handle stuff like that and to call my asset manager. I’m completely lost about the problem.

I have a quick question for anyone who uses the people net eld system. About a month ago, the system updated for me and since the update it no longer calculates hours after completing a 8/2 or 8/3 split when taking the shorter part of the break first.
I find it rather annoying since I use it a lot when waiting on my backhaul or store appointments, Since the update I thought it didn’t work anymore. But after talking to another Crete driver, he informed me that it still works and it’s a problem with people net.
He explained that you’re still able to do the 8/2 split while taking the shorter part of the break first, but since people net doesn’t calculate the hours like it should, I should just track my hours and take the short break first and although it’d say I’m in a hours of service violation, it’ll fix itself once I complete the 7 or 8 hour part of the break on the sleeper status.
I can easily track my hours, and I’m not worried about the longer part of the break since I’m take a 10 hour break anyways to reset my clock. I just want to know if anyone have seen this issue and if it’s true what I was told?
