Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting this fine woman in Wytheville, Va. while we were Rving. A true pioneer in the trucking industry and a great person to know. Keep up the good job Laura.

Tell your wife hi and if you go to Wytheville next year, let me know because I'm still running the cheese from Idaho to Greensboro.

In all fairness; for Memorial day, an EXTRA shout out to the LADIES!

a.) To BE a driver AND/OR a soldier and/or a LEO, is a formidable task, for sure.

b.) To BE and STAY a driver's, soldier's and/or LEO'S wife is to some, insurmountable. Sadly.

I've added this often, but hope it will be 'revisited:'

Laura's interview is always celebratory: IDMtnGal on Freightwaves!!!

Kearsey: On the Asian Mai Show!!!!!!

Her YouTube Channel, where she INTERVIEWS SOME BIG NAMES, TOO! : Truckin' Along W/Kearsey!

PJ, Your Colleen, is awesome, as well.. I know, through YOU!! She's definitely on my TOP TEN, though not a member of TT !!!!!! You know we mad respect, y'all. (When's the wedding again ?!?!?) << show her this!

Nae Nae .. in all fairness, you're in the echelon as well!! NaeNaeInNC ... link, bio, photos, posts!!

(Bumping for all the new gals, that aren't familiar w/ my idols!!)

Have a BLESSED Memorial Day; thank you ladies, for what YOU'VE DONE, and STILL DO !!!

~ Anne ~

ps: Susan Dever (Sue D.) and Ashley Loucks (Chickie Monster,) Ahmalia, MissIncocgnito, etc. . . . SO MANY awesome women have offered a WEALTH of information & contributions, to this forum!
