No. Marijuana is still a schedule 1 narcotic, according to the US government. The regulations governing trucking for interstate transportation of goods are determined by the federal government. Until the US government decides to legalize marijuana, if it ever does, this is a moot point.

Absolutely not. Even if the federal government legalized it, the individual carriers still have the right to tell you what drugs you can and can't use or have in the truck. Currently that includes the aforementioned sleeping pills either otc or prescription, nyquil and benadryl among others.
