Getting enough sleep here too. Know your circadian pattern. I set up my days to sync with where I'm most productive. Noon to 3 am. Roughly. I avoid that early afternoon crash most people experience that way. Most days I stop every few hours and I never push it when I'm tired.

I eat small meals frequently throughout the day, never a big lunch. Hydrate. If I do have a night of insomnia, which happens sometimes, I'm just too hyper active and drink too much espresso, I'll adjust my schedule as needed. I've been totally honest with my DM , said I couldn't sleep and didn't feel safe driving. He totally understood and rescheduled the delivery. It only happened once.

It's all pre-planning to me. I obsess off planning all facets of my load, including off time.

While I'm driving, I usually have a symphony of things to do to combat the abhorrent programming of our trucks, traffic and road conditions to deal with as well as listening to music at deafening levels, pod casts, phone calls, documentaries but also a lot of times just thinking (obsessing) about thing with the backdrop of the Cummins and road noise for music.

Dm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.
