So topic one will be...drum roll please! Electric trucks. (Self driving trucks will not be discussed)embarrassed.gif Personally I think more four wheelers should be electric to allow for the fuel to be dispersed among semi's. Why not? And this ones for Packrat!!! Make the day cabs electric!!! Why not? Thoughts?

Day Cab:

A tractor which does not have a sleeper berth attached to it. Normally used for local routes where drivers go home every night.

Biggest problem being with EV's is affordability ! Most people cannot afford to buy EV's, not until the tech allows lower purchase prices, for "every day Joe's" lol And the current way they are "Trying" to FORCE, us into that by minipulating the fuel supply & demand today... Why not convert semi's to CNG etc, like UPS runs some of out there., Or hydrogen power?

Since Trump lost out, we have been on a spiral downhill freefall from day 1,once the friggin' brain dead moron we currently have, sat down at the Oval Office desk lol (not trying to be political on this topic)

We "should" get back to how we were before, drilling and using our OWN supply, NO Matter what they say, it will be a long way off, before oil is used up on earth.

Rather than going full electric, I’ve never understood why they haven’t pursued a diesel electric hybrid similar to a train. You could use a much smaller Diesel engine and I’m sure the removal of the transmission and existing running gear would offset the weight of the battery pack and electric drive motors.
