I would like to start with Happy memorial day and say thanks to all the man and women who died so we can be free to do whatever we want.

I am trying to get home by tonight I am on a 30min break and I just want to remind everyone to be safe. I was at a truck stop my last break a few hours ago and saw a semi truck that was pulling in with smoke coming out the windows. Someone called 911 and the driver got out with a lot of coughing from smoke inhalation. He told me a grease fire developed while driving and he pulled over at the truck stop. 2 firetrucks, 3 cops, and a ambulance arrived right as I was leaving. Apparently he put food on a mini stove top then continued to drive until it was done.

I am very happy he was okay but people please be safe and make good decisions!

Wow.

Glad he's okay.

Good on you, for looking out.

Read my Memorial day thread, when you get a chance, as well. Many of y'all are 'out there' this weekend.

Many MORE of y'all were 'out there' on the front lines, too many times to count. HUGE GRATS to the LEO's turned DRIVERS, as well. Always. AND the current LEO's, considering this profession/career. It's often thankless, sadly.

I am humbled. We are forever grateful. Always. Being the wife of a vet AND/or a driver, is a humbling position.

Get home safely;

~ Anne & Tom ~

They said they won't be able to fix the issue. They didn't say exactly what was wrong just a issue with engine performance so they will issue a new engine for it. It may take about 2wks but I should have it back! Thanks for checking in and I will check it out soon!

"Fer Sure, Fer Sure!!" I just LOVE to say that on Tom's CB, hardly nobody even 'gets' it anymore; sadly.

Get movin' and stay safe. TT will be here. Let us know about the tractor, in due time.

Slow down, stay safe; watch for 'those' that don't. Always.

Anne, your (and Tom’s) piece of paradise is nothing to sneeze at. I love Ohio for a few reasons (mostly because my best Friend of 42 years lives there). I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that building and wish I had one. Enjoy your cruise!
