The wait continues....

I'm at the Iowa 80 now myself until late tonight.

I'm doing ok. Bored out of my mind. I'm not sure if it's Primes policy to park us for 7 days post positive, or my specific FM , either way, the wait continues.

I have been off Tylenol/Advil and other cold meds for over 24 hours, and it feels like a weak cold at this point. My taste is coming back in spurts, and I'm really sick of where I'm parked in Aurora NE. Kicking myself for even testing really. I only had two days which I would consider "bad." Even then, they weren't "oh my god I'm going to die" kind of bad.

Gatorade, water, and Zycam quick dissolve tablets were my saving grace. Also, friends who went through it all said the same thing, eat. Even if you don't feel like it and aren't hungry, eat. I can see how people could get in trouble because of lack of nutrients.

All in all, I have been way worse with sinus/ear/and pneumonia before.

Fm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

Great to read you are doing better, but sorry for your lengthy boredom. The truck is truly a tiny space when you're confined and on "Quarantine".

Well, I'm all set to roll in the morning, but danged if I can't fall asleep!

I seem to be mostly recovered without too many residual effects. Taste is back, smell is back, a little bit of runny nose, and I'm not exhausted. I'll see what happens when I actually start driving though!

Thank you everyone for your concern! I seem to have come through unscathed. Well, my wallet is under the weather now, but that's beside the point!
